To know me and know my mission is to read my favorite quote by Theodore Roosevelt- “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”
My Story
I created Kingsmen design because i have been called by god to help craft, empower and build up men to be kings. this calling i have felt ringing in my ears and has not stopped no matter what job or position i've held. i have an unwavering desire to see men live out their fullness of who they are- uniquely created in the image of god to glorify and enjoy him in the whole of their lives. we have been made kings, warriors, Men of Love, and sages. this is a gloriously high calling and one not to take lightly.

ever since my master of divinity program at westminster seminary i have seen a great need to take all these eternal and glorious truths that we believe and bring them down to earth in the day to day. how do we take what we believe and confess and apply it to our habits, and realms as kings? how do we connect these truths and live them out when trials come?

the goal of the king's men Fieldbook and the king's men tribe is to take all of the online courses, classes, books and podcasts i have consumed and help each man distill a vision that leads to thriving in each aspect of their life. health and fitness, intellectual life, emotional life, character, spiritual life, Husband, Father, social life, Church, finances, career and quality of life. if i have done this then i am more than confident that we can bring god's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
